Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Neville Bartos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vape Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Watson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bartos.
Diaz blocks a head kick by Bartos.

Bartos wants to slow Diaz down by chopping away at his legs.
Diaz looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Bartos throws a looping overhand right but Diaz ducks down to avoid it.
Diaz is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Bartos with a body shot.

Diaz closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bartos eats them both and turns towards Diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Diaz is trying to push Bartos away but Bartos has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

A close round but Vape Diaz will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bartos moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Bartos gets control of Diaz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bartos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Bartos's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bartos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Diaz wants to stand and escape but instead Bartos has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Bartos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bartos has managed to get both his arms back between Diaz's legs - danger averted.
