And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold throws a right and a left that Schmidt avoids nicely.
Schmidt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gold sprawls well. Gold wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Schmidt gets slowly back to his feet.
Schmidt dives in for a single leg takedown but Gold sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gold works the jab nicely.

Schmidt rushes Gold and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Schmidt really is a fat lump.

Gold breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gold connects with a right that clearly hurt Schmidt. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Gold proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Schmidt collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Caesar Gold!
Caesar Gold spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
