The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Clements sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
As Davis tries to get set, Clements tries to push him back and clinch up but Davis manages to avoid the attempt.

Clements changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Davis fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Clements is trying to get back to his feet but Davis has full control of the position and if anything, Clements has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Clements is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Davis gets his way!

Davis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Clements looks a forlorn figure.

Davis throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

That was a close round but I would say that Guy Clements will probably get the nod.
