The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones drops Dangerfield with a big left hand and mounts him. Dangerfield is in big trouble!
It looks like Dusty Dangerfield has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dangerfield takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jones looks to land a combination but Dangerfield avoids it well.
Dangerfield wants to clinch
and Dangerfield takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Jones lands with a hook. Dangerfield tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jones punishes Dangerfield's body with a nice straight punch.
Jones lands a left and a right that sends Dangerfield crashing to the canvas! Jones dives into mount looking to finish!
Dangerfield is rocked!

Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dangerfield seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones cracks Dangerfield with a good jab.

and Dangerfield is countered with a crisp right hand from Jones that sends him to the canvas! Jones follows him to the mat into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
