Ashton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Zombie Nation. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ashton looks to land a left hand but Baker moved out of range nicely.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ashton has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Baker lands a nice shot to the body.
Baker gets underhooks to prevent Ashton's takedown attempt.

Baker lands a hook that snaps the head of Ashton backwards.
Ashton misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ashton is working for takedown but Baker is calmly controlling the position for now.

I was talking to Baker's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Baker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ashton backwards.
Baker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Ashton gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Baker regains guard.

Baker pushes Ashton off and gets back to his feet.
Ashton takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ashton gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Baker unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Ashton! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Baker is unloading with more strikes now! Ashton drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
