Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ismael Mcfadden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lukaz Holka ! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holka moves to clinch but Mcfadden breaks away and Mcfadden counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Holka wants to get back to full guard. Mcfadden not doing much here.
Holka keeps control of the position for the meantime. Holka tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Mcfadden has advanced to mount. Uh oh. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holka tries to hold on but Mcfadden postures up. Mcfadden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holka is desperately trying to improve his position but Mcfadden has a good base and remains in mount. Holka is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Holka is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Holka tries to hold on but Mcfadden pushes him away. Holka wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Mcfadden takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Holka tries to hold on but Mcfadden pushes him away. Mcfadden content just to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcfadden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcfadden has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Holka tries to lock up and control but Mcfadden gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mcfadden tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Holka tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mcfadden content just to control the position here. Holka tries to get back to half guard but can't. Holka is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Mcfadden controlling the pace for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Holka wants to hold on but Mcfadden pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Holka is looking to clinch. Holka motions for Mcfadden to come forward. Holka throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Holka just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMcfadden. Holka tries to keep at a distance but Mcfadden has taken the fight into the clinch. Holka is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Holka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ismael Mcfadden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holka moves into range and clinches up with Mcfadden. Holka is looking to control Mcfadden's arms but Mcfadden gets an underhook and turns him. Now Holka has his back to the cage. Mcfadden is pressed up against the cage. Holka has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mcfadden down to the mat. Mcfadden avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcfadden displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Holka . Mcfadden circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mcfadden is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Holka can do to turn this around? Holka has closed the distance and engaged Mcfadden in a clinch.
Mcfadden being controlled against the cage. Mcfadden wants to take the fight to the mat but Holka manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Holka will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mcfadden up against the cage.

Mcfadden has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Holka keeps the fight on the outside. Holka wants to counter with a clinch but Mcfadden pushes him away. A punch combination from Mcfadden misses. Holka gets tackled into the cage by Mcfadden. Mcfadden maintains the clinch. Holka misses with an elbow strike.

Holka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Holka wants to clinch up but Mcfadden keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcfadden stuffs the takedown attempt from Holka . Holka gets slowly back to his feet. Ismael Mcfadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukaz Holka . A combination from Holka does no damage. Mcfadden moves out of range of the strikes. Holka tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mcfadden counters with a takedown into side control. Holka tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Holka is breathing heavily. Holka is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Mcfadden controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holka is looking to improve his position but Mcfadden isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Holka wants to hold on but Mcfadden pushes him away. Mcfadden controlling from mount. Holka is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ismael Mcfadden will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Mcfadden tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Holka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Holka wants to land a leg kick but Mcfadden is out of range. Mcfadden misses with a wild combination.
Holka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Holka takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mcfadden instigates a clinch. Holka breaks from the clinch.
Holka fails with the takedown. Ismael Mcfadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukaz Holka .
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcfadden fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Holka , pushing him back against the cage. Holka jumps guard but Mcfadden stands there with Holka around his waist. Holka gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Holka lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mcfadden or not. Mcfadden pulls guard successfully.
Holka is fighting to break Mcfadden's control of his arms but Mcfadden is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Holka throws a strike but Mcfadden rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mcfadden stopping the sweep attempt from Holka .
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holka has a closed guard, preventing Mcfadden from standing up. Ismael Mcfadden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mcfadden gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ismael Mcfadden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Holka shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcfadden tries to sprawl out of it but Holka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcfadden manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mcfadden throwing a counter right hand but Holka manages to avoid it. Holka fails in his attempt to clinch. Mcfadden tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Holka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mcfadden throws a head kick that misses. Mcfadden lands with a kick to the temple. Holka shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Holka has Mcfadden up against the cage in a clinch.

Mcfadden pulls guard. Mcfadden is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Holka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Holka looking to sit in guard and control but Mcfadden gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lukaz Holka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ismael Mcfadden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mcfadden content to stall in guard here.
And that's the end of the fight! Ismael Mcfadden showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mcfadden, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
