Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buck Futter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogie McGill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buck Futter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bogie McGill!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGill gets a clinch.
Futter jumps guard but McGill stands there with Futter around his waist. Futter gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McGill throws an elbow but it misses.
Futter dodges an elbow strike from McGill.
Futter tries to pull guard but McGill won't allow it.
Futter has McGill pushed against the cage.
Futter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Futter pulls guard successfully.

Futter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McGill can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Futter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McGill defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGill trying to control but Futter is working from the bottom.
McGill connects with a couple of short punches.

Futter keeping moving, preventing McGill from controlling successfully.

Futter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Futter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McGill trying to control but Futter is working from the bottom.
McGill is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
McGill trying to control the position from guard on top but Futter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McGill tries to free his leg and advance position but Futter is retaining full guard.

Futter looking for a guillotine here but McGill defends easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Futter is trying to control the position from the bottom.

McGill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Futter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGill has managed to get both his arms back between Futter's legs - danger averted.

Futter keeping moving, preventing McGill from controlling successfully.
McGill might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Futter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Futter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Futter throws a hook to the side of McGill's head but McGill sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McGill bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McGill misses with a combination

and Futter counters with a nice double leg into side control. McGill won't be happy with that.

Futter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McGill has escaped the position, nice work there.
McGill is looking to reverse the position.
McGill taking a bit of punishment here - Futter scoring with strikes.

Futter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McGill is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Futter landing strikes.
Futter trying to control the action but McGill is working from the bottom.
Futter looks up at the clock and then as McGill takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Futter smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Futter controls the position from side control.
Futter trying to control the position but McGill is working away.
McGill struggling a bit here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McGill is looking for a sweep.
McGill prevents Futter from improving position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buck Futter dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Futter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McGill avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Futter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McGill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McGill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Futter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

McGill scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Futter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

McGill avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Futter is adopting a defensive guard.

Futter looking for a guillotine here but McGill defends easily.
Futter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McGill can do to turn this around?

Futter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Futter has his foot on McGill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McGill works his way back into a safe position though.

Futter is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! McGill rolls with it to try and escape but Futter cranks on the arm and McGill is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
