Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramses Xll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vahan Karamyenyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Xll might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scarab - Ankh. Karamyenyan has chosen Bonecrusher - Saw Theme Remix as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vahan Karamyenyan!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xll tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Karamyenyan. Xll does a little dance to reset his feet.
Karamyenyan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
An attempted straight right counter from Xll misses the target.
A cross from Xll lands.
Xll ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karamyenyan moves away.
And Karamyenyan tries to counter it with a takedown but Xll pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Xll throws a hook but Karamyenyan avoids it easily.
Nice body kick there by Karamyenyan.
Xll throws a sloppy head kick and Karamyenyan moves out of range easily.
Karamyenyan flicks out a counter leg kick but Xll steps away.
Xll takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Karamyenyan tries to land a body kick
and Xll connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Vahan Karamyenyan has been cut.
Xll swinging wildly here.
Karamyenyan goes for a double leg but Xll avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Xll continues to drive forward.
Karamyenyan tries to score with a low kick but Xll moves his leg out of the way.

Karamyenyan lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Xll swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And Karamyenyan tries to counter it with a takedown but Xll pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Xll counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Karamyenyan!

Xll is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Karamyenyan is still in real trouble! Can Xll finish him?
Xll tries to pass the half guard into mount. Karamyenyan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Karamyenyan seems to have recovered his senses.
We've been hearing that Xll has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Karamyenyan tries to roll over but Xll keeps him under control.

Xll looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Xll looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Xll is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Xll is working for a submission of some sort.
Karamyenyan is looking for a sweep. Xll is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Xll is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Xll seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Karamyenyan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Karamyenyan gets back to full guard.
Xll has gone for a leg lock! Karamyenyan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Xll's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Karamyenyan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Xll has his feet on Karamyenyan's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Xll connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Xll tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Karamyenyan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Xll checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Karamyenyan throws a sloppy head kick and Xll moves out of range easily.
Karamyenyan throws a leg kick that misses.
Xll feints and then cracks Karamyenyan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Karamyenyan down.
Xll misses with a jab, cross combination.
Xll lands a nice shot that snaps Karamyenyan's head back.
Vahan Karamyenyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karamyenyan lands a leg kick that knocks Xll off balance momentarily.
Xll dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Karamyenyan. That did some damage!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Karamyenyan.
Karamyenyan shoots in and gets a takedown into Xll's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karamyenyan tries to free his leg and advance position but Xll is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ramses Xll will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Karamyenyan delivers a nice body kick.
Karamyenyan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Xll.
Karamyenyan misses with a kick to the body.
Karamyenyan looks to land a right hand but Xll moved out of range.
Karamyenyan throws a head kick that Xll semi-blocks.
Xll throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Karamyenyan misses with a kick to the body.
Xll moves out of range of the body kick from Karamyenyan.
Xll pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Xll looks to score with a jab to the body but Karamyenyan is just out of range.
Karamyenyan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Xll lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Karamyenyan is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Karamyenyan catches Xll with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Karamyenyan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karamyenyan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That kick from Karamyenyan tenderised Xll's leg. Xll is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ramses Xll is winning the standup battle so far.
Xll lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Xll feints with a jab and clips Karamyenyan right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Karamyenyan is sent crashing into the canvas and Xll leaps in for the kill! Karamyenyan tries to get to his feet but Xll is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Karamyenyan is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ramses Xll!
Ramses Xll seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
