Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russ Noble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anderson Archer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Russ Noble! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer rushes Noble and presses him up against the cage. Noble looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Noble has had enough of the clinch but Archer keeps him there for the moment. Archer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Noble just stands there and leans against the cage. Archer is trying to pull guard but Noble turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Archer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Noble walks away with a smile on his face. Archer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Archer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Archer dives in for a single leg takedown but Noble sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Archer has managed to clinch.
Archer wants to take the fight to the mat but Noble manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Archer breaks from the clinch.
Noble throws a body punch but Archer moves out of range. Archer pushes Noble up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Anderson Archer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Archer gets the takedown into side control. Noble seems a little lost for a moment, as Archer dominates the positioning. Noble felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Noble tries to buck Archer off but Archer is having none of it. Archer working the head and body with strikes. Archer lands a nice forearm strike. Archer working away. Archer cracks Noble with an elbow. That is naaassty. Archer creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer tries for a kimura but Noble is defending well. Archer is trying to get an arm triangle but Noble is defending well. Archer in side control lands a decent elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Archer scores with a couple of short elbows. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Noble wants to control but Archer postures up. Archer landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Archer remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Archer working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Archer content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Archer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Noble for as long as he can get away with.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Archer is chipping away with strikes.
Archer scoring with punches and elbows. Noble is letting Archer control him for a moment. Archer cracks Noble with an elbow. That is naaassty. Archer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Noble knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Archer is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Noble will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Archer throws out a leg kick but Noble moves out of range and Archer only half commits. Archer looks to land a body kick but Noble moved away. Archer instigates a clinch. Archer wants a takedown but no success here.

Noble wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Archer has him pressed against the cage. Archer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Noble can do to turn this around? Archer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Noble to keep the fight standing. Noble is breathing heavily.

Archer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Noble pinned against the cage. Noble gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Archer misses with a takedown attempt - Noble sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Archer tries for a takedown but Noble circles away easily and Noble counters with a stiff right hand. Archer shoots in for a takedown but Noble shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Archer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Noble defends well and Archer ends up having to push Noble into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Archer closes the distance and clinches. Archer pulls guard. Noble trying to control the position from guard on top but Archer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Archer pulls Noble in close to prevent any damage. Archer is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Archer is pulling down on Noble's head to control his posture. Noble stands up from Archer's guard - Noble perhaps looking for a knockout. Archer closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Archer manages to pull guard.
Archer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Noble is aware though and is defending well. Archer seems keen to control Noble's posture. Archer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Noble's guard.
Archer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Archer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anderson Archer dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Archer shoots in looking for a takedown but Noble manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Archer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Archer misses with a takedown and Noble cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Archer closes the distance and pushes Noble back into the cage. Archer is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Archer. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Noble tries to break free but Archer pushes him back against the cage. Noble letting Archer take a breather here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Archer is working for takedown but Noble is calmly controlling the position for now.

Archer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Archer showed some decent athleticism there. Noble wants to control but Archer is keeping busy and won't allow it. Noble wants to get back to his feet.

Archer seems to be working for a kimura but Noble defends the submission attempt. Archer working over Noble with some ground and pound. Noble looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Noble is rocked! Anderson Archer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Archer connects with a nice short shot to Noble's temple. Noble is still in real trouble! Can Archer finish him? Nice strikes from Archer there. Archer is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Noble is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
