Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Krocidal ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Adder! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adder tries to sprawl but Krocidal drives through with a takedown into half guard. Adder moves into full guard.
Adder not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Adder is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Krocidal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Adder is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Krocidal , into his guard.
Krocidal pushes Adder off and gets back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Krocidal . Adder shoots for a double leg takedown but Krocidal sprawls well. He's pushed Adder's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Krocidal closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krocidal has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Adder is trying to keep an underhook but Krocidal manages to get the takedown into half guard. Adder actively working from the bottom here. Krocidal stalling. Adder is trying to get back to full guard. Krocidal is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Krocidal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Adder on the ground. Adder looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Adder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Krocidal is working away from the top position though. Krocidal looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adder looking for submissions off his back. Krocidal stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Krocidal rushes Adder and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Adder tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Krocidal has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Adder uses from the top position. Krocidal pushes Adder off and gets back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Adder stalling away here and it's allowed Krocidal to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Adder thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Adder trying to control but Krocidal is working from the bottom. Krocidal looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Krocidal keeping moving, preventing Adder from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Krocidal dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Krocidal . Adder prevents Krocidal from moving into mount. Adder wants to control but Krocidal postures up. Krocidal decides to stand up, so the ref orders Adder to his feet. Adder looks for a takedown but Krocidal sprawls well. Krocidal throws a quick counter head kick but Adder was just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adder darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Krocidal is staying active underneath Adder, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krocidal keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Adder wants to work for an arm triangle but Krocidal is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Adder is looking for a kimura but Krocidal is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Adder to get the leverage. Krocidal is looking for a sweep. Adder is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Adder works his way into full mount! Adder swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Krocidal is now in Adder's guard. A big mistake from Adder there, giving up the dominant position!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adder being controlled here, momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adder lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Krocidal keeping moving, preventing Adder from controlling successfully. Adder drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Krocidal manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Adder has Krocidal in his guard. Krocidal is working Adder over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krocidal lands a couple of elbows. Adder throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Krocidal is looking to pass into half guard but Adder pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Adder is in guard. Krocidal tries to strike from the bottom.
Krocidal manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Adder manages to get himself to full guard.
Krocidal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adder has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Krocidal has managed to get both his arms back between Adder's legs - danger averted. Adder is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adder throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krocidal drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Krocidal jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jimmy Krocidal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Krocidal landing with the ground and pound. Adder trying to keep a closed guard but Krocidal is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Krocidal chips away with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adder fails with a takedown attempt. Adder tries to clinch and Krocidal counters with a two punch combo. Krocidal is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Adder can do to turn this around? Adder moves to clinch but Krocidal breaks away and Krocidal counters with a nice double leg into side control. Adder won't be happy with that. Krocidal landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adder tries to bench press Krocidal off him but Krocidal keeps the position. Adder is trying to control Krocidal 's posture but Krocidal avoids it. Krocidal stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adder shoots in but Krocidal avoids the takedown attempt easily. Krocidal tried to score with a low kick but Adder checks it. Jimmy Krocidal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Krocidal clinches up against the cage. Adder successfully pulls guard.
Krocidal landing some decent shots from guard. Krocidal cracks Adder with a solid left hand. Krocidal 's corner is telling him to maintain position. Krocidal has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Adder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Adder takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Krocidal sitting in guard, not really doing much. Adder working for a triangle but Krocidal defends it easily.

Krocidal stays in close to Adder's body and controls the position. Krocidal scoring with punches to the head and body. Adder escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Krocidal gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Adder looking for a triangle here. Krocidal is fighting it but it looks tight! Adder pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Krocidal is tapping out - this one is all over!
