The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Cane finds it's way through Lay's defenses.

Cane closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cane displaying some good clinch control by pressing Lay up against the cage.
Lay tries to land a knee to the head but Cane blocks with his arms.
Cane digs a right hand into Lay's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lay's gas tank.
Cane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A right handed body shot lands from Cane.
Lay misses with a knee to the head.
Cane lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Cane will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lay up against the cage.
Cane lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lay backwards.

Cane presses Lay against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Cane lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Still in the clinch, Cane scores with a nice short uppercut.
