0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas Gunhild! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunhild throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wade counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wade trying to control but Gunhild is working from the bottom. Wade is really struggling to control Gunhild but he's trying to hold on to the position. Gunhild pulls Wade in close to prevent any damage. Wade trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunhild is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wade postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wade works a leg free and moves into half guard. Wade has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Wade is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gunhild has managed to free his arm - good work. Gunhild tries to get to full guard but Wade has control of the leg. Wade seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wade stops Gunhild from getting back to his feet.

Gunhild wants to get back to his feet. Wade wants to pass the guard but Gunhild is defending well. Gunhild tries to kick Wade off but Wade keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Wade trying to control from half guard but Gunhild is working away. Wade maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Gunhild could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wade has cracked it and Gunhild is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wade!
