Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kunta Kinte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinte tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jackson defends well and Kinte ends up having to push Jackson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kinte dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Kinte's head and hops out. Jackson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kinte with a body shot. Kinte has Jackson up against the cage in a clinch.
Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Kinte is controlling him. Kinte's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Kinte has Jackson pressed against the cage, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kinte has his hands on Jackson's head, controlling the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kinte manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.

Kinte controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kinte stands up and waves to Jackson to follow him. Kinte throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kinte off to one side. Kinte doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jackson counters with a nice body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kinte fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That was a close second round but I would say that Kunta Kinte will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
