Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Conner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Man Who Sold The World kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Daniel Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wayne Conner! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conner scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A good leg kick by Conner. Williams throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Conner counter with a right hand.
It looks like Daniel Williams has been cut. Williams takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Williams is looking to land body kicks. Conner misses with a hook. Williams ducked under it nicely. Wayne Conner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Conner drops his hands momentarily and Williams takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Conner swings for the body but Williams moves out of range.
Conner cracks Williams with a right hand to the side of the head.
Williams is rocked! Conner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The fighters circling - Williams throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Conner gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Conner feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Williamss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Conner does a little dance to reset his feet. A shot to the body from Conner misses and Williams counters with a good low kick that Conner was not able to check. Williams seems to have got his legs back now. Williams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Conner to score with a decent uppercut. Williams getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conner's jab looks to have found its range, popping Williams under the eye. Conner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams. Williams swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Conner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Williams has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Williams and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Conner is just out of range. Williams slips under a jab. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Williams. Conner blocks a low kick nicely. Williams punishes Conner's body with a nice straight punch. Conner throws the left hand but Williams avoids the punch easily. Conner throws a jab when Williams was well out of range. A punch lands to the side of Conner 's head but he takes it in his stride. Williams throws a nice outside leg kick. Conner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Williams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Williams forces Conner back against the cage and clinches. Williams working some nice short punches in the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conner slips a straight right by Williams. Conner moves out of range of the strikes. A slow jab from Conner misses its intended target. Conner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Williams.

Conner cracks Williams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Conner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Williams fails in his attempt to clinch. Williams lands with a slapping head kick. Williams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Conner. Conner loads up on a big right hand but Williams slips the punch. Williams missing with a left hand there. Conner was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Williams throws a body punch but Conner moves out of range. Williams cracks the inside of Conner's front leg. Conner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Williams.
Conner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams. Williams looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away. The crowd cheers as Conner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Williams doesn't seem phased though. Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
It seemed like Conner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Conner.
Williams closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Conner fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Williams to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Williams looks to clinch but Conner throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Williams taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Wayne Conner! During a confident post fight interview, Wayne Conner thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
