Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allan Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Sewer Rat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Allan Hale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Sewer Rat! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hale tries to clinch but Rat is having none of it. Hale shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Rat scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hale manages to mount him!
Rat is looking to get to half guard. Hale will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rat tries to hold on but Hale postures up. Hale get's back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hale moves into the clinch. Hale pulls guard successfully.
Hale keeping moving, preventing Rat from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hale has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rat has managed to get both his arms back between Hale's legs - danger averted. Rat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hale wants to get back to his feet but Rat is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hale is controlling Rat's posture. Hale bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rat's guard. Hale throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hale gets to his feet. Rat looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hale looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hale postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hale throws a big elbow that misses. Hale thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rat tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rat is trying to control the position but Hale postures up. Hale stands and steps away. Rat gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rat pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hale was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. No luck for Rat with that takedown attempt. Rat looks winded! Hale moves into the clinch. Hale wants a takedown but no success here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rat tries to land knees in the clinch but Hale avoids the damage to the body. Hale is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rat is defending well. Hale pulls Rat into guard.
Rat being controlled here momentarily. Rat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hale working for a triangle but Rat defends it easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rat wants to control from the top but Hale keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Allan Hale dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hale sprawls well. Hale wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rat gets slowly back to his feet. Rat tries to clinch there but Hale circles away.
We've been informed that Rat has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Hale looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rat is fending him off so far but Hale persists. Nope, Rat circles away and we're back to standing. Hale lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rat at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hale gets a takedown into half guard. Rat is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hale throwing shots but Rat is blocking nicely. Hale not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hale is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rat defends it well. Allan Hale overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hale missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rat is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hale stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Rat to get to his feet. Hale shoots in and bounces Rat off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hale in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hale drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hale jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hale is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rat can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hale missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rat is looking for a triangle but Hale pushes his legs off easily.
Rat is breathing heavily. Rat working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hale. Hale lands a couple of elbows. Hale is in close to Rat's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hale with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hale stands up from Rat's guard - Hale perhaps looking for a knockout. Hale shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rat is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hale dives into side control.
Hale lands a nice forearm strike. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rat takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Allan Hale dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Rat fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rat. Hale shrugs it off though. Allan Hale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hale drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hale lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hale stands and steps away. Rat gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The Sewer Rat is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rat throws a nice looking combination but Hale bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rat takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hale shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rat manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hale content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hale lands a couple of digs. Hale with a nice head shot there. Hale has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hale stands up from Rat's guard - Hale perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters circling a little - Hale finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hale gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rat goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hale tries for a takedown. No joy.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rat just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hale's brow. Hale has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rat uses from the top position. Rat is looking to stand up but Hale won't let him. Hale wriggles free and stands up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rat is defended easily by Hale. Hale attempts a counter takedown but Rat avoids it well and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rat tries to keep at a distance but Hale has taken the fight into the clinch. Hale jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rat walks away with a smile on his face. Hale gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Rat loads up on a big right hand but Hale slips the punch. Rat takes a kick to the side of the head. Rat tries to clinch there but Hale circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hale displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nice body kick from Hale. Rat swings widly with a right hand
and Hale counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hale tries to clinch up. Rat connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hale. Hale circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Hale feints and as Rat raises his hands in defense, Hale changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hale won't allow Rat to get back to his feet. The Sewer Rat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Allan Hale is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hale stays in close to Rat's body and controls the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Allan Hale showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hale has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
