Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Lamphard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Lamphard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Cohen!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamphard fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cohen on the side of the head.
Cohen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cohen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lamphard misses with an uppercut. Cohen saw that one coming.
Frank Lamphard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cohen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lamphard throws out the jab.
Lamphard throws a hook but Cohen avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Lamphard throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sloppy strikes from Lamphard. Those never looked like landing.
Lamphard cracks a nice hook into Cohen's ribs.
Lamphard throws a leg kick that misses.
Lamphard closes the distance and clinches.
Lamphard lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cohen backwards.
Lamphard tries to pull guard but Cohen holds him up against the cage and eventually Lamphard drops back down to his feet.
Cohen keeps control of Lamphard as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lamphard tries a body shot but Cohen blocks it.
Cohen tries to pull guard but Lamphard won't allow it.
Lamphard looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lamphard breaks the clinch.

Lamphard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lamphard showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cohen.
Cohen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lamphard.
Cohen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cohen showed some decent athleticism there.
Lamphard has his hands clasped together around Cohen's back. He's all about the action.
Lamphard looks like he's trying to stand up.

Cohen is keen to just control but Lamphard is a slippery customer.

No luck for Cohen with that takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cohen.
Frank Lamphard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Cohen.
Cohen gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lamphard gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Cohen is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Frank Lamphard decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
