Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Valur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valur comes to the cage accompanied by David Bowie - Let's Dance. Adam Ware has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gilbert Valur's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gilbert Valur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Ware! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valur looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ware displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Valur. Ware wants to counter with a clinch but Valur pushes him away. Valur fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilbert Valur. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Valur is defended easily by Ware. Ware has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Valur is landing a low percentage of strikes. Nice takedown defense from Valur. No joy for Ware on that attempt. Valur looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ware feints the counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valur fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ware appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Ware dives in and grabs Valur's left leg, looking for a takedown. Valur pushes down on Ware's head and hops out. Valur appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ware avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valur gets a takedown into half guard. Ware looks winded! Valur with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ware is defending against the submission attempts here by Valur.
Valur is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Valur is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ware doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Valur.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valur stands up and beckons Ware to join him on the feet. Gilbert Valur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valur looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ware is fending him off so far but Valur persists. Nope, Ware circles away and we're back to standing. Valur dives in and grabs Ware's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ware pushes down on Valur's head and hops out. Ware defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Valur. Valur darts in looking for a takedown but Ware gets double underhooks and turns Valur into the cage. Valur tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ware swivels and escapes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ware stuffs the takedown. Ware wants to counter the offense by Valur and move into the clinch position. Ware shoots in looking for a takedown but Valur manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ware's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ware is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ware tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ware tries to clinch but Valur is having none of it. Valur shoots in for a double leg but Ware sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ware rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Valur moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Valur is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ware's half guard. Valur has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Valur controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Valur connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Valur is landing with some decent strikes but Ware is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Valur dominating with strikes here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Valur with good strikes from the mount here! Valur controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Valur shoots for a takedown but Ware saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ware feints a counter leg kick. Ware changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Valur tries to avoid it but Ware manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Valur to the ground. Valur escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Valur closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ware circles away. Ware tries to clinch but Valur moves out of range. Valur shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ware as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilbert Valur. That's going to take a lot out of him. Valur shoots in looking for a takedown but Ware manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Valur's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Valur looks for a takedown but Ware sprawls well. Ware slaps away a takedown attempt from Valur, before circling back to the center of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ware comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Ware shoots in but no luck this time. Valur shoots in for a takedown but Ware shows good takedown defense. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Valur misses with a takedown attempt - Ware sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valur keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ware stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ware wants it to stay on the feet. Ware now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Valur shoots for a takedown but Ware saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ware forces Valur back against the cage and clinches. Valur misses with a hook to the ribs.

Ware goes for a takedown attempt but Valur pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Valur changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ware tries to avoid it but Valur manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ware to the ground. Ware escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ware shoots in looking for a takedown. Valur tries to sprawl out of it but Ware keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Valur manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gilbert Valur is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valur darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ware tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Valur manages to move to mount!
Ware has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! I would not like to be Ware right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ware won't enjoy being in this position. Valur looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Ware is tapping - it's over boys! Valur picks up the submission victory!
