Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiran McCormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jase Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keiran McCormick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tua tries to clinch there but McCormick circles away.
Tua tries to clinch but McCormick is having none of it. McCormick shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tua's guard. McCormick gets to his feet - Tua follows without any prompting. Tua closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tua lands in his opponent's guard. Tua must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McCormick lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tua! McCormick jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tua manages to avoid the submission attempt. Tua is looking to reverse the position. McCormick working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Tua's face as McCormick controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tua gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Tua makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tua. Tua looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tua wants to stand up but McCormick is controlling him. McCormick forces his way into half guard. Tua has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McCormick is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McCormick throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McCormick passes to side control. McCormick stands up and beckons Tua to his feet. Tua goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Tua is looking to clinch but McCormick is avoiding it.
McCormick with a poor takedown and McCormick takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tua has McCormick up against the cage in a clinch.
Tua jumps guard but McCormick stands there with Tua around his waist. Tua gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McCormick is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tua gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. McCormick is breathing heavily. McCormick drags the fight down to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tua thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tua wanted to stand there but McCormick had control of the position. McCormick is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tua is looking for a sweep. McCormick is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tua regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from McCormick. McCormick won't allow Tua to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tua wants to stand and escape but McCormick is having none of it. Tua keeping moving, preventing McCormick from controlling successfully. McCormick looking to sit in guard and control but Tua gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Tua preventing the sweep.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McCormick feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCormick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tua is looking to stand up but McCormick isn't so interested in that idea. Tua looking for a guillotine here but McCormick defends easily.
McCormick wants to control from the top but Tua keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keiran McCormick dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McCormick misses with a takedown and Tua connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tua looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Tua tries to clinch up but McCormick circles away and keeps his distance. McCormick scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Tua is trying to maintain the position but McCormick is very close to passing his half guard. McCormick prevents Tua from standing back up.
McCormick slows the pace down in half guard. McCormick thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tua's head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McCormick is keen to just control but Tua is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCormick thows a huge punch but Tua dodges it nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tua bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McCormick blocks a head kick by Tua.
McCormick tries for a takedown but Tua circles away easily and Tua counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Tua is tying to control. McCormick wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. McCormick trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Tua manages to pass to mount!
Tua swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and McCormick is now in Tua's guard. A big mistake from Tua there, giving up the dominant position! McCormick trying to control the position from guard on top but Tua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tua had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McCormick is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tua Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McCormick's back instead. McCormick manages to stand up with Tua still on his back. Eventually Tua drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. McCormick gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tua counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keiran McCormick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tua stops McCormick from getting back to his feet.

Tua trying to control but he's not successful this time. Tua controlling the pace for now. McCormick is looking to get to half guard. Tua looking for a guillotine from mount but McCormick is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McCormick is looking to get to half guard. Tua controlling from the full mount. McCormick is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jase Tua showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Tua throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Tua slips a straight right by McCormick. McCormick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tua tries to avoid it but McCormick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tua to the ground. Tua escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tua pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck for Tua with that takedown attempt. Tua closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McCormick to the mat! McCormick manages to get full guard. McCormick is looking for a triangle but Tua pushes his legs off easily.
Tua stands and steps away. McCormick gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Tua shoots in but no luck this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McCormick misses with a takedown and Tua decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McCormick's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tua controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. McCormick looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tua is one step ahead there. McCormick looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. McCormick wants to get back to his feet but Tua is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Tua content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McCormick is trying to control the position but Tua postures up. McCormick working a defensive guard but Tua passes into half guard.
McCormick wants to sweep but Tua has passed to side control! Tua decides to take the fight back to the feet. Tua tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tua doesn't succeed with the takedown and McCormick counters by moving into the clinch. Keiran McCormick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jase Tua.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCormick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice cross by Tua. Tua tries for a takedown but McCormick circles away easily so McCormick counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. McCormick trying to control but Tua is working from the bottom. Jase Tua has got the better of the ground game so far. McCormick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tua swivels though and keeps the full guard. McCormick is working Tua over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. McCormick wants to control from the top but Tua keeps moving. Tua trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCormick is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tua is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tua has escaped and now he's on top! McCormick isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tua stacks McCormick on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tua! McCormick is trying to work for a sweep but Tua has mounted him! McCormick is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Jase Tua comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tua has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
