Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Negan Finnigan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thomas Krakow! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krakow fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Finnigan swings widly with a right hand
and Krakow counters with a nice body kick. Krakow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Finnigan sprawls well. Finnigan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Krakow gets slowly back to his feet. Krakow cracks the inside of Finnigan's front leg. Krakow misses with a hook. Finnigan ducked under it nicely. No luck for Krakow with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krakow misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Negan Finnigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Krakow. Finnigan misses with the combination.

and Krakow counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Finnigan keeping moving, preventing Krakow from controlling successfully. Krakow engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Krakow slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Krakow tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krakow tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Finnigan is trying to control Krakow's posture but Krakow avoids it. Finnigan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Krakow off and has taken his back! Finnigan controls the position. Finnigan is hanging on to Krakow's back as he tries to escape.
Krakow just trying to survive but Finnigan is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krakow is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Krakow takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Finnigan misses with a wild body shot. Krakow swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Krakow shoots in for a double leg but Finnigan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. It looked like Finnigan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Krakow tries to clinch and Finnigan counters with a lovely shot to the body. Krakow takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Thomas Krakow has been cut. Krakow tries to clinch and Finnigan counters with a nice uppercut. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Krakow. Krakow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Finnigan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Krakow with a poor takedown and Finnigan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Finnigan looks to land a right hand but Krakow moved out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krakow fails with a takedown attempt from distance. An attempted straight right counter from Finnigan misses the target. Finnigan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Krakow shoots and misses and Finnigan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Krakow looks winded! Krakow wants to clinch but Finnigan slips to the side and Krakow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Finnigan circles away from the clinch attempt and Finnigan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Krakow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Finnigan sprawls well. Finnigan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Krakow gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krakow tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Krakow gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Finnigan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Thomas Krakow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Finnigan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Finnigan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Krakow throws a low kick but it's checked well by Finnigan. Finnigan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Krakow can do to turn this around? Finnigan lands with a straight right. Krakow didn't see that one coming. Krakow tries to close the distance and clinch but Finnigan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Krakow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Finnigan defends well and Krakow ends up having to push Finnigan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Finnigan scores with a nice right hand.

Krakow shoots and misses letting Finnigan counter with a right hand. Negan Finnigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Krakow. Krakow wants to clinch and Finnigan counters with a right hand to the body. No luck for Krakow with that takedown attempt. Krakow is breathing heavily. Finnigan punishes Krakow's body with a nice straight punch. Krakow throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Finnigan counters with a series of strikes. Krakow will be more careful next time no doubt.

Krakow dives in and grabs Finnigan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Finnigan pushes down on Krakow's head and hops out. It looked like Finnigan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Krakow lands with a cross. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A cross from Finnigan lands. Krakow shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Finnigan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Krakow tries to clinch up enabling Finnigan to counter with a crisp jab. Horrible takedown attempt by Krakow or perhaps it was just good defense by Finnigan, which made it look bad.

Krakow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Finnigan avoids it really well and circles away. Krakow shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Finnigan to counter with a crisp jab. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Finnigan!

That has opened up Thomas Krakow's cut even more. Krakow on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Negan Finnigan is winning the standup battle so far.

Negan Finnigan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Krakow throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice cross by Finnigan. Krakow misses with a body shot.
Finnigan jabbing away but nothing is landing. Krakow misses with a takedown attempt - Finnigan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Finnigan is looking to counter punch. Finnigan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Krakow back to the cage. Finnigan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Krakow tries a low kick but Finnigan avoids it. Finnigan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krakow circles away quickly and effectively. Finnigan connects with a body shot. That's two minutes gone in the round. Krakow takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Finnigan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Krakow is still on wobbly legs! Can Finnigan finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Krakow takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Finnigan lands a big right hand that sends Krakow crashing to the mat! Finnigan stays standing though and waves Krakow back to his feet!
The cut above Thomas Krakow's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Krakow closes the distance but Finnigan moves to the side and Finnigan counters with a big right hand! Oh Krakow is in trouble here! Finnigan follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Negan Finnigan!
