And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farmery shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Griffin's guard.
Griffin is trying to control the position but Farmery postures up.
Farmery passes Griffin's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Farmery perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Griffin is defending against the submission attempts here by Farmery.
Farmery is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Griffin is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Farmery has latched onto it... Big trouble! Farmery pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Griffin is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Farmery!
