Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan O Conor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan O Conor !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruno Tepes!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

O Conor moves into the clinch successfully.
Tepes misses with a punch to the body.
O Conor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tepes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

O Conor jumps guard but Tepes turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Tepes can't find room to land a body shot as O Conor controls the action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tepes connects with a nice short shot to O Conor 's temple.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tepes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tepes felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Tepes got a little sloppy there for a moment and O Conor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tepes has managed to get both his arms back between O Conor 's legs - danger averted.

Bruno Tepes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tepes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
