Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Somchai Paowsong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dingda Doongda!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Doongda. Paowsong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Doongda throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Doongda scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Doongda tries to move into range but Paowsong moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Doongda takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Doongda.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doongda throws a low kick but it's checked well by Paowsong.

Paowsong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little jabbing left from Doongda on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Paowsong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Doongda misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Paowsong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doongda manages to avoid it.
Doongda defending well as Paowsong loads up on a big left hand.
Doongda is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Paowsong with a body shot.
Paowsong throws a right hand that Doongda ducks under and follows up with a left that Doongda also avoids with ease.
Paowsong connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Doongda's hands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Doongda connects with a high kick.

It looks like Somchai Paowsong has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Paowsong closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Doongda crashing to the mat! Doongda uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paowsong gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Paowsong takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Paowsong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Doongda sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Doongda counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Paowsong thinking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Paowsong tries to bum rush Doongda with a series of wild strikes but Doongda uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Doongda counters with a good low kick that Paowsong was not able to check.
Paowsong on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Doongda throws a leg kick which misses Paowsong's front leg but catches the back leg as Paowsong tries to avoid it.
Paowsong takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Doongda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Paowsong throws out the jab.

Paowsong lands a right and a left and another right! Doongda goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
