Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Krylov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Jiu Jitsu by Smoke Serpent as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krylov swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Krylov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Krylov is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Combate Gym 🇧🇷 that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Krylov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Krylov in his guard.

Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Krylov controls the pace.
Krylov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Krylov is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Krylov has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krylov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Krylov wants to pass the guard but Gracie is defending well.
Gracie wants to improve his position but Krylov is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Krylov is tapping! Great win for Gracie!
