The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantola lands with a nice body punch.
Kantola throws a lazy head kick
and Kantola takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kantola blocks a jab.
Kantola throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Tonothan Kuhula has been cut.
Kantola clobbers Kuhula with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A nice combination there by Kuhula.


It looks like Ari Kantola has been cut.
Kantola misses with a kick to the body.
Tonothan Kuhula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuhula paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kuhula scores with a sloppy right hand. Kantola should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kantola misses with a few strikes there.
Kantola tries to move into range but Kuhula moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Kantola using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kuhula has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Kuhula is trying to push Kantola away but Kantola has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Kuhula wants to get back to striking at distance but Kantola won't allow it.

Kantola lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kuhula or not.
Kuhula is breathing heavily.
Kantola lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Kantola maintains plum control as Kuhula tries to back straight out! Kantola connects with one knee! Two knees! Three, four, five, six...seven unasnwered knees! Kuhula blocks the eight but eats the ninth - then collapses! Oh the brutality!

After the fight, Ari Kantola was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
