Connor comes to the cage accompanied by Curtis Stigers & The - John The Revelator . The crowd seem to be enjoying Lashley's choice of entrance music: Fire & Brimstone . The key to victory for Dan Connor has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Lashley!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lashley with a lazy takedown attempt
and Connor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lashley thinking.
Lashley tries to clinch there but Connor circles away.
Connor throws a series of punches but Lashley moves out of range.
Connor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lashley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lashley wants to clinch
and Lashley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No luck for Lashley with that takedown attempt.

Connor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lashley doesn't seem bothered though.

Lashley wants to free his trapped foot but Connor is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Connor throws a big counter combination but Lashley scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Dan Connor showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Connor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dan Connor spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
In defeat, Bobby Lashley stepped up to the mic, saying 'I Don't Know Man, I Could Just Focus On Pro Wrestling And Retire MMA Or I Could Train Harder Than Ever And Win My Next Fight '.
