Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ole NKone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Haigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haigh has chosen Prayer of the Refugee by Rise Against as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

NKone throws a front kick aimed at Haigh's knee but Haigh avoids it well.

NKone throws a hook to the side of Haigh's head but Haigh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Haigh lunges at NKone with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by NKone's hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!

NKone wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
NKone misses with a wild body shot.

NKone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Haigh was well out of range. Poor timing from NKone.

NKone bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Haigh's head backwards.
NKone thuds a left hand into Haigh's body.
NKone rushes Haigh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
NKone is stalling here.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Haigh takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
NKone tries to work over Haigh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ole NKone will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

NKone has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Haigh's face.

Ole NKone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Haigh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. NKone stacks Haigh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by NKone!

Well NKone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
