46 - 51 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fred Collins! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Collins. Collins lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Collins throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gacy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gacy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Collins regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Gacy. Gacy throws a big right hand that misses. Gacy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Collins's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Collins working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Collins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gacy works his way to full guard. Good work. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gacy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gacy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Collins's guard. Gacy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gacy lands a nice short elbow. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gacy winds up and cracks Collins with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Collins is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Collins misses with a looping right. Gacy feinted with a counter takedown. Collins smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Collins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No luck for Gacy with that takedown attempt. Collins pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gacy back to the cage. Collins follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Gacy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gacy lands in his opponent's guard. Gacy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gacy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Collins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gacy has Collins in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gacy is controlling Collins's posture. Collins throws a big right hand that misses. Gacy controlling the position. Collins throws a strike but Gacy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gacy pushing down on Collins's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gacy in particular looking to stall. Gacy scoring with strikes to the body and head. Collins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Collins keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fred Collins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gacy drops an elbow to the side of Collins's head. Gacy is nestled in close to Collins, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Collins is still in real trouble! Can Gacy finish him? Gacy scores with a big shot! Collins's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Collins! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
