Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rikkard Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klas Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Horn as he connects with a hook.
Hanson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Horn counters with a left to the body.
Hanson misses with a wild combination.
Horn is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Hanson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Horn can pounce on him.

Hanson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Horn is able to avoid easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horn throws a body punch but Hanson moves out of range.
Hanson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Horn fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hanson to the ground. Horn is now in Hanson's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hanson pulls Horn in close to his closed guard and prevents Horn from doing any damage or advancing position.
Horn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Horn throws a big right hand that misses.
Horn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hanson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Horn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Horn is looking to work some ground and pound but Hanson has wrist control.

Horn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hanson lands a glancing blow to the side of Horn's head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hanson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hanson throws a series of punches but Horn moves out of range.
Horn is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hanson with a body shot.
Hanson misses with a hook. Horn ducked under it nicely.

Horn lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
