PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quavo Huncho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dadhri Senchai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huncho kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is T-Shirt - Migos. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quavo Huncho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dadhri Senchai!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senchai wants to clinch.
Senchai changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Huncho tries to avoid it but Senchai manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Huncho to the ground. Huncho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Huncho dives in and grabs Senchai's left leg, looking for a takedown. Senchai pushes down on Huncho's head and hops out.

Senchai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Huncho, pushing him back against the cage.

Huncho has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Senchai after a bit of a struggle.

Huncho escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Senchai lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Huncho circles away quickly and effectively.

Huncho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Huncho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Senchai's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

As Senchai looks to move away, Huncho throws a big counter combo but Senchai just gets out of the way.

Huncho tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Senchai defends well and Huncho ends up having to push Senchai into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Despite the aggression on Senchai's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Huncho.
Huncho throws a low kick but Senchai avoids it.
Senchai is looking for the big counter here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Both fighters circling a little - Senchai finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Huncho fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Senchai avoids it really well and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dadhri Senchai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Dadhri Senchai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Senchai winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
