Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chet Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Vinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rollins comes to the cage accompanied by God's Gonna Cut You Down- Johnny Cash. Chet Rollins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chet Rollins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Vinson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rollins wants to clinch but Vinson slips to the side and Vinson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Rollins closes the distance looking to clinch and Vinson counters with a nice uppercut. Rollins with a body punch. A glancing blow. Rollins punishes Vinson's body with a nice straight punch. Vinson ducks under a wild hook from Rollins. Vinson appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Vinson tries to clinch up but Rollins circles away and keeps his distance. As Vinson tries to get set, Rollins tries to push him back and clinch up but Vinson manages to avoid the attempt. Vinson misses with a body shot.
Rollins closes the distance and clinches. A nice right hand lands inside from Vinson. Rollins decides to pull guard. Rollins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vinson defends it easily. Rollins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vinson defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vinson is one step ahead there. Rollins working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Vinson has passed into half guard!

It looks like he's just sitting there. Rollins kicks off Vinson and gets to his feet. Rollins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rollins fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Vinson ducks under a wild hook from Rollins. Vinson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Rollins with a body shot. Chet Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rollins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vinson. Rollins slips under a jab. A little feinted left hand from Rollins on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Vinson staying out of range there. A good leg kick by Vinson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rollins throws a body punch but Vinson moves out of range. Rollins throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vinson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Vinson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rollins finds it's way round the side to connect with Vinson's head. Rollins throws a body punch but Vinson moves out of range. Vinson slips a jab and a cross from Rollins.
Vinson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Rollins with a body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rollins rushes Vinson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Vinson gets through Rollins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Vinson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Rollins digs a right hand underneath Vinson's ribcage. Vinson let out a lung full of air as it connected. Nice body punch from Rollins. Rollins misses with the head strike.
Rollins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vinson can do to turn this around? Rollins tries to work over Vinson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vinson manages to break the clinch.

Chet Rollins dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Vinson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Rollins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Vinson moves forwards but Rollins connects with a nice, crisp jab. Vinson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rollins.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rollins lands the left hand. Karl Vinson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chet Rollins is winning the standup battle so far.

Rollins cracks Vinson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The fighters circle momentarily. Rollins darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Rollins stalks Vinson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vinson's face. Vinson staggers backwards, shaken. Vinson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rollins moves out of range of the strikes.

and Vinson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Vinson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Good standup being displayed there by Rollins as he connects with a hook. Rollins tries to clinch up and Vinson counters with a nice body shot. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rollins takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Vinson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Vinson does a little dance to reset his feet. Vinson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rollins moves away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rollins cracks a nice hook into Vinson's ribs. Rollins misses the shot to the body. Vinson has taken the fight to the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chet Rollins. Well Rollins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Chet Rollins! Chet Rollins decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
