Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tig Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tig Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Reggie Ray! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer misses with a takedown attempt - Ray sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ray tries to close the distance and clinch up but Killer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ray keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ray shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Ray tries to clinch but Killer is having none of it. Killer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ray counters with a two punch combo. Killer moves into the clinch. Killer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer instigates a clinch. Killer controlling the action here for a moment.
Still in the clinch, Killer scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Ray is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Killer to keep the fight standing. Killer jumps guard and drags Ray to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Killer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Killer pulls Ray in to control the position. Killer keeping moving, preventing Ray from controlling successfully. Killer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Killer manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Killer fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tig Killer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ray throws a sloppy head kick and Killer counters by moving into the clinch. Killer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice sprawl there from Ray as Killer shoots in. Ray checks a leg kick nicely. Killer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ray tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Ray fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Killer avoids it really well and circles away. Killer has a takedown stuffed. Ray tries to clinch but Killer is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer closes the distance and pushes Ray back into the cage. Ray looking for a takedown. Killer gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Ray tries to pull guard but Killer won't allow it.
Killer manages to break the clinch.

Killer gets control of Ray's arms and successfully pulls guard. Killer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ray trying to control but Killer is working from the bottom. Killer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ray told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Killer keeping moving, preventing Ray from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ray has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Killer is proving hard to escape from. Killer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Killer seems keen to control Ray's posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Killer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Killer throws a big counter combination but Ray scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Ray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tig Killer dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Killer rushes Ray and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Killer manages to break the clinch.
Ray has his takedown stuffed and Killer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Killer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ray uses from the top position. Ray wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving. Killer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ray manages to get himself to full guard.
Ray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Killer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ray can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Killer controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Killer stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ray to get to his feet. Killer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ray, pushing him back against the cage. Killer breaks from the clinch.
Ray shoots in for a double leg but Killer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ray tries to close the distance and clinch but Killer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Killer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ray as he avoids it easily. Ray is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killer shoots in looking for a takedown but Ray manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Killer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Killer keeps the fight on the outside. Ray tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ray tries for a takedown but Killer circles away easily and Killer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Tig Killer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Ray. Killer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ray tries a head kick but it misses.

Ray goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Killer clinches up with Ray and pushes him back against the cage. Killer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Ray tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Killer smiles and moves away.

Ray tries to clinch up but Killer circles away and keeps his distance. Ray lands with a kick to the temple. Killer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" This has been an exciting period of action! Ray shoots in looking for a takedown. Killer tries to sprawl out of it but Ray keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Killer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tig Killer dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Ray is trying hard to land a takedown here. Killer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Killer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ray defends well and Killer ends up having to push Ray into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ray dives in and grabs Killer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Killer pushes down on Ray's head and hops out. Killer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Despite the aggression on Ray's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Ray shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Killer sprawls well. Killer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ray gets slowly back to his feet. Tig Killer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Ray. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer digs a good body shot into Ray's ribs. Ray shoots for a double leg takedown but Killer sprawls well. He's pushed Ray's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Killer tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ray manages to circle out of the way.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Killer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Killer trying to control the pace. Ray looks like he's trying to stand up.
Killer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Killer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ray for as long as he can get away with. Killer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ray! Ray tries to reverse the position but Killer maintains control. Killer lands a heavy elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ray is just holding on here. Killer manages to take his back.
Killer controlling the position well here. Ray rolled but Killer kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Killer continues to stall. Killer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ray has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Killer has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
And that's the end of the fight! Tig Killer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Killer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
