Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Zipperman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefano Magaddino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Zipperman has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kyle Zipperman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stefano Magaddino! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zipperman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Magaddino sprawls well initially but Zipperman persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Magaddino tries to roll over but Zipperman keeps him under control. Zipperman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Magaddino desperately trying to maintain half guard. Zipperman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Magaddino is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Magaddino works his way to full guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zipperman throws a big right hand that misses. Magaddino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zipperman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Magaddino wants to sweep here but Zipperman controlling him for the moment. Zipperman looking to sit in guard and control but Magaddino gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magaddino lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Magaddino showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Zipperman controls Magaddino momentarily but Magaddino frees himself. Magaddino with a flurry of punches that miss. Magaddino lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Magaddino won't allow Zipperman to sweep him here. Magaddino postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Magaddino slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Let's hope that Magaddino has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Magaddino. Magaddino with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Magaddino's corner is telling him to maintain position. Magaddino postures up and lands a big shot to Zipperman's brow. Magaddino landing with the ground and pound. Magaddino looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Magaddino controlling from the top position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zipperman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Magaddino is one step ahead there. Magaddino controlling from the top position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Magaddino is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Magaddino controls from within his opponent's guard. Zipperman is looking to stand up but Magaddino isn't so interested in that idea. Zipperman is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Magaddino makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Magaddino not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefano Magaddino dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Zipperman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Zipperman moves into range and clinches up with Magaddino. Magaddino looking for a takedown. Zipperman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Magaddino has him pressed against the cage. Magaddino has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zipperman uses from the top position. Zipperman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Magaddino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zipperman has managed to get both his arms back between Magaddino's legs - danger averted. Magaddino is trying to hold Zipperman in close to prevent damage but Zipperman has managed to pass into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zipperman trying to control the position from guard on top but Magaddino is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Magaddino looking for a sweep. Not yet Magaddino, not yet. Magaddino is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magaddino managing to control the position. Magaddino's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Magaddino is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Magaddino fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zipperman to the ground. Magaddino is now in Zipperman's guard. Zipperman being controlled here, momentarily. Magaddino works over Zipperman with some ground and pound from guard. Zipperman trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magaddino tries to free his leg and advance position but Zipperman is retaining full guard. Magaddino cracks Zipperman with a solid left hand. Zipperman being controlled here, momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. More stalling from Magaddino. Magaddino is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Magaddino is in close to Zipperman's body, working some short punches and elbows. Zipperman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Magaddino controls the pace. Magaddino advances position into side control! Magaddino working the head and body with strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Magaddino is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Zipperman's shoulder. That is not cool. Magaddino landing a few strikes. Zipperman seems a little lost for a moment, as Magaddino dominates the positioning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefano Magaddino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Magaddino shoots in and gets a takedown into Zipperman's guard.
