The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzlarry tries to close the distance and clinch but Slicenikov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fitzlarry wants to clinch up but Slicenikov keeps it at a distance.
Fitzlarry wants to clinch.
Fitzlarry looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fitzlarry tries to close the distance and clinch but Slicenikov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fitzlarry checks a leg kick nicely.
Slicenikov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Slicenikov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Gerald Fitzlarry has been cut.
Slicenikov cracks Fitzlarry on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Fitzlarry falls backwards against the cage. Slicenikov follows up with more strikes that drop Fitzlarry to his knees. Slicenikov keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Fitzlarry! This one is all over!
