Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBarz throws a hook but Thompson blocks it.
McBarz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Thompson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Thompson moves away from the strike by McBarz.
A nice side step and Thompson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
McBarz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thompson.
Thompson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from McBarz with a body shot.
McBarz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thompson circles away quickly and effectively.
McBarz swings for the body but Thompson moves out of range.
Thompson lands with a hook. McBarz tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
McBarz misses with a shot to the body
enabling Thompson to counter with a crisp jab.
McBarz scores with a shot to the body.
McBarz throws a right and a left that Thompson avoids nicely.
Thompson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bobby McBarz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McBarz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McBarz is looking to wear down Thompson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McBarz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thompson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thompson misses with an uppercut.
McBarz misses with a wild combination.

Thompson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McBarz has time to react.
McBarz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McBarz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

and McBarz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

McBarz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McBarz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Thompson backs up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McBarz Throws a clean left jab. McBarz Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Thompson's chin! Thompson crumbles to the ground and McBarz follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by McBarz!

A very excited looking Bobby McBarz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
