Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nigga Blackie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alexandre Garcia! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Blackie connects with a solid leg kick. Garcia tries to keep at a distance but Blackie has taken the fight into the clinch. Garcia wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blackie has him pressed against the cage. Blackie misses with an elbow strike.
Garcia tries a body shot but Blackie blocks it.
We've been informed that Garcia has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Garcia lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Blackie has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Garcia content just to control the position here. Blackie wants to control but Garcia is having none of it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blackie can't escape the position.

What can Blackie do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Blackie is trying to get back to his feet but Garcia has full control of the position and if anything, Blackie has just worked his way into a worse spot. Good control from Garcia.

Garcia really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Blackie. Garcia's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Garcia struggling to keep hold of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Blackie is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Garcia is trying to stick to Blackie's back but Blackie is turning into Garcia. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Garcia's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Blackie. Garcia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Garcia looking for a triangle here. Blackie is fighting it but it looks tight! Garcia pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Blackie is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Alexandre Garcia! Alexandre Garcia decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
