Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guy Clements (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Jaggers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guy Clements!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Jaggers!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaggers misses with a head kick.
Clements rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jaggers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Clements really is a fat lump.
Jaggers fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Clements checks it well.
Jaggers swats away the attempt to clinch by Clements.

Jaggers has Clements up against the cage in a clinch.
Jaggers drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Clements escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clements clinches.
Jaggers tries to break free but Clements pushes him back against the cage.
Clements has Jaggers pressed against the cage, preventing Jaggers from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Clements tries to pull guard but Jaggers forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Jaggers working hard to break the clinch.
Clements tries to pull guard but Jaggers holds him up against the cage and eventually Clements drops back down to his feet.

Jaggers shoots in for a takedown but Clements shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jaggers dives in and grabs Clements's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clements pushes down on Jaggers's head and hops out.

Clements shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jaggers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jaggers has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Clements avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jaggers wants to hit a switch here but Clements passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jaggers there!

Jaggers tries to lock up and control but Clements gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jaggers bucks up and throws Clements to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Clements shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jaggers but Jaggers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jaggers is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Clements with a body shot.

Ken Jaggers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No luck for Jaggers with that takedown attempt.
Jaggers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jaggers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clements but Clements pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That was a close round but I would say that Guy Clements will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jaggers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clements can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clements accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Clements working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Jaggers doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Clements looks to land a combination but Jaggers avoids it well.

Ken Jaggers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

and Clements counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jaggers won't be happy with that.
Jaggers manages to get back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jaggers wants to control the action here but instead Clements manages to pass to full mount!
Jaggers is desperately trying to improve his position but Clements has a good base and remains in mount.

Jaggers wants to control but Clements is keeping busy.

Jaggers sneaks out the side door and pushes Clements away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Clements looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jaggers is fending him off so far but Clements persists. Nope, Jaggers circles away and we're back to standing.

Clements jumps guard but Jaggers turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jaggers - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ken Jaggers seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Clements jumps guard but Jaggers stands there with Clements around his waist. Clements gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jaggers pulls Clements in close to his closed guard and prevents Clements from doing any damage or advancing position.

I would just about give that final round to Ken Jaggers.
I think Jaggers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
