Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Devin Watkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Fujiwara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Watkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yoshi Fujiwara! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fujiwara ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fujiwara closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fujiwara lands in his opponent's guard. Watkins trying to keep a closed guard but Fujiwara is proving a slippery customer.
Fujiwara lands a couple of digs. Fujiwara postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Fujiwara not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Watkins working for a triangle but Fujiwara defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fujiwara preventing the sweep. Watkins is trying to keep Fujiwara in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujiwara working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fujiwara controls from within his opponent's guard. Fujiwara lands a couple of elbows. Watkins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fujiwara defends well. Watkins tries to land a sweep but no joy. Watkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fujiwara doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fujiwara manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fujiwara controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Watkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fujiwara can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fujiwara sitting in guard here, content to control. Fujiwara lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fujiwara landing some decent shots from guard. Fujiwara passes Watkins's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fujiwara takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fujiwara lands a nice short elbow. Fujiwara lands with a punch from half guard. Fujiwara looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Fujiwara performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Fujiwara might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Nice strikes from Fujiwara there. Fujiwara not doing much here.
Watkins is looking for a sweep. Fujiwara is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Watkins is working hard here to advance position. Fujiwara has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fujiwara in particular looking to stall. Watkins is trying to control but Fujiwara passes into side control!
Fujiwara working the head with strikes. The referee asks Fujiwara politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fujiwara prefers to stall for the moment though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fujiwara lands some shots froms side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshi Fujiwara dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Fujiwara connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Fujiwara lands a nice hook to Watkins's body. Watkins takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Watkins dives in and grabs Fujiwara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fujiwara pushes down on Watkins's head and hops out. Fujiwara scores with a jab to the head.
Watkins is rocked! and Fujiwara counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Watkins! He's just covering up as Fujiwara starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yoshi Fujiwara!
