Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sarel The Eagle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramsy Ricochet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sarel The Eagle has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sarel The Eagle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramsy Ricochet!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Eagle shoots in and drives through. Ricochet sprawls well.
The Eagle moves to clinch but Ricochet breaks away

and Ricochet counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

The Eagle pushes Ricochet off and gets back to his feet.
The Eagle really is a fat lump.
The Eagle fails with a takedown attempt.
Ricochet has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

The Eagle closes the distance and clinches.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The Eagle managing to control the position.
Ricochet is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The Eagle wants to sweep here but Ricochet controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Eagle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ricochet throws a strike but The Eagle rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


The Eagle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ricochet manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now The Eagle has Ricochet in his guard.

The Eagle manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The Eagle slaps away a takedown attempt from Ricochet, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The Eagle forces Ricochet back against the cage and clinches.

Ricochet pulls guard effortlessly.
The Eagle trying to control but Ricochet is working from the bottom.
The Eagle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ricochet keeping moving, preventing The Eagle from controlling successfully.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ricochet can't keep his opponent in guard - The Eagle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The Eagle content to control rather than advance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The Eagle looking to score a takedown here. Ricochet is defending well but The Eagle drives through and ends up in Ricochet's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


The Eagle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ricochet paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The Eagle advances to mount.

The Eagle looking to secure an arm triangle but Ricochet defends it well.
The Eagle looking to control and managing it successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Eagle trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Ricochet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Eagle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The Eagle is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ricochet has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ricochet!
The Eagle pulls Ricochet in close to his closed guard and prevents Ricochet from doing any damage or advancing position.

The Eagle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The Eagle pushes a forearm under Ricochet's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ricochet is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
