The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wu.
Wu connects with a right hand. Flagstaff shakes it off.
Wu throws a head kick but Flagstaff moves out of range.
Wu throws a head kick that misses.
Wu cracks the inside of Flagstaff's front leg.
Flagstaff slips under a jab.

Flagstaff instigates a clinch.
Wu tries to land a knee to the head but Flagstaff blocks with his arms.
Wu throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Flagstaff blocks it with crossed arms.
Wu looking to throw knees to the head but Flagstaff is blocking nicely.

Flagstaff pulls Wu into guard.

Flagstaff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Flagstaff escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wu tries to free his leg and advance position but Flagstaff is retaining full guard.
Wu trying to control the position from guard on top but Flagstaff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Flagstaff looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wu wants to control from the top but Flagstaff keeps moving.
Wu slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Wu works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Flagstaff does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Quentin Wu just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

A slapping leg kick lands for Wu.

Wu throws a sloppy head kick and Flagstaff moves out of range easily.
Wu circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Flagstaff drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Wu follows Flagstaff to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
