Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Shannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Justin Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shannon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lewis dives in and grabs Shannon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shannon pushes down on Lewis's head and hops out.
A lazy left from Shannon finds it's target.
Lewis misses with a body shot.
Justin Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shannon throws a head kick that misses.
Lewis shoots and misses
and Shannon counters with a right hand to the body.
Shannon takes the fight into the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Shannon as the two fighters clinch.
Shannon scores with a shot to the side of Lewis's head.
A nice left hand lands by Shannon.
Lewis throws a punch but it's blocked by Shannon.
Shannon scores with a nice hook to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lewis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lewis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Shannon scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Decent striking displayed by Shannon there.
Shannon cracks Lewis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Lewis fails with a takedown attempt.
Mike Shannon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Lewis.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shannon connects with a body shot that sends Lewis's belly button to the back.
Mike Shannon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shannon sends Lewis crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Shannon is motioning to the referee to let Lewis up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Lewis is rocked!
Shannon connects with a body shot that sends Lewis's belly button to the back.
Lewis is still on wobbly legs! Can Shannon finish him?
Lewis looks winded!
Lewis circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Shannon. Lewis falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Shannon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mike Shannon!
A relieved looking Mike Shannon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
