The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Raban or perhaps it was just good defense by Arnaboldi , which made it look bad.
Raban bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Arnaboldi throws a right hand that Raban ducks under and follows up with a left that Raban also avoids with ease.
Arnaboldi swats away the attempt to clinch by Raban.
A jab lands there for Raban.
Arnaboldi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
No joy there for Raban, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Raban takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Huberto Arnaboldi has been cut.
Arnaboldi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Raban throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Arnaboldi attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A little feinted left hand from Raban on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Arnaboldi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Arnaboldi scores with the left hand. Raban knows he should have avoided that one.
Arnaboldi throws a looping overhand right but Raban ducks down to avoid it.
Raban swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Arnaboldi .
Raban doesn't manage to clinch there - Arnaboldi circles away.
Arnaboldi throws a series of punches but Raban avoids them all with ease.

Raban darts in looking for a takedown but Arnaboldi gets double underhooks and turns Raban into the cage.
Nice shot lands for Raban.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Raban throws a jab when Arnaboldi was well out of range.

Raban tries to score a power double leg takedown but Arnaboldi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Raban somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that James Raban will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Oooooh!!! Arnaboldi has knocked Raban down with a huge combo! Arnaboldi steps away and waves a wobbly Raban back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Raban backs away from a small jab... but Arnaboldi lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Raban crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Arnaboldi with a spectacular finish!
