Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Job (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tolkay Wartooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Job!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tolkay Wartooth!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Job closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Job not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Job perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Job passes the guard and advances to mount!

Job with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Wartooth really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Wartooth is squirming around, avoiding Job's attempts to control the action.

Job is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Wartooth lands a body shot.
Job fails with a takedown attempt.

Wartooth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wartooth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
A nice elbow there by Wartooth.
Wartooth wants to control the pace but Job is squirming around nicely.
Job is trying desperately to improve position.
Wartooth tries to control but Job wriggling away.
Wartooth landing strikes from the mount.
Job tries to reverse the position but Wartooth maintains control.
Wartooth can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Job is looking to escape.

Job sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Job wants to improve his position but Wartooth is controlling well.
Job might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wartooth tries to stand and escape but Job is controlling the position.
Job regains full guard. Nicely done.
Job is breathing heavily.

Job looking for a guillotine here but Wartooth defends easily.

Job working for a triangle but Wartooth defends it easily.

Wartooth trying to control but Job is working from the bottom.
Job utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wartooth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Job lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wartooth!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Job takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Job trying to control.
Wartooth tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Job misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Wartooth sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Job thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Job trying to control from half guard but Wartooth is working away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Job dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Wartooth doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Job counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wartooth!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You get the feeling that Wartooth really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Job working for a guillotine from mount but Wartooth is in no mood to give up.
Wartooth is looking to get to half guard.

Job goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Wartooth is on top in guard.
Wartooth is working Job over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Job looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wartooth is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Job keeping moving, preventing Wartooth from controlling successfully.
Wartooth must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wartooth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Job swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Job is looking to stand up but Wartooth isn't so interested in that idea.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wartooth accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wartooth throws a big right hand that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wartooth misses with a takedown

and Job counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Job.
Job works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wartooth wants to get back to full guard.
Job keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Wartooth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Job. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Job has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Job moves to the back position.

Job is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Job gets his hands free as Wartooth looks to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Job is hanging on to Wartooth's back as he tries to escape.

Job is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Wartooth has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Job has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Wartooth taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Job doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Steve Job!
