Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matthew Morrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison dives in and scores a takedown into Root's guard.
Root is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Morrison got a little sloppy there for a moment and Root has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morrison has managed to get both his arms back between Root's legs - danger averted.
Morrison is looking to stand up but Root won't let him.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Root has cracked Morrison with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Root lands another huge swinging hook and Morrison tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Morrison, before Root can land any more shots!
