14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Monte Zuma! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Gaul looks to throw a body kick and De Gaul takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Obelix De Gaul has been cut. De Gaul misses with an attempted mid kick.

De Gaul misses with a body punch
and De Gaul takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Zuma turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Zuma lands a nice looking body kick. De Gaul throws a head kick that misses and Zuma moves into the clinch. Zuma works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Zuma pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending De Gaul tumbling to the mat - Zuma dives into De Gaul's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Zuma passes easily into side control. Nice work. Zuma wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by De Gaul, who protects the arm well. Zuma wants to lay and pray for a moment but De Gaul keeps working. De Gaul's coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. De Gaul wants to control but Zuma postures up.
