Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dom Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Where is My Mind? by Pixies kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Steve Sanchez enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ron Honeybunn and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez misses with a double jab
and Cruz counters with a single leg into guard. Sanchez didn't expect that.
Sanchez is trying to control the position but Cruz postures up.
Cruz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Cruz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cruz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cruz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanchez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
