Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Cezar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ortiz throws a sloppy head kick
and Cezar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ortiz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cezar throws out the jab.
Cezar lands a nice hook to Ortiz's body. Ortiz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cezar looks to land a right hand but Ortiz moved out of range.
Cezar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ortiz gets a clinch.
Ortiz tries to land a knee to the head but Cezar blocks with his arms.
Cezar has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ortiz has Cezar pressed against the cage, preventing Cezar from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ortiz lands with a short head shot on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cezar is looking to break free of the clinch but Ortiz has double underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Cezar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Cezar takes a knee to the side of the body.
Ortiz can't find room to land a body shot as Cezar controls the action.
Ortiz misses with a hook to the ribs.
Cezar tries to break the clinch but Ortiz is controlling the position.

Ortiz lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Cezar.
Ortiz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cezar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ortiz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cezar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ortiz throws a push kick but Cezar slaps the foot to one side.
Ortiz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
No joy there for Cezar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cezar scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A big right from Ortiz misses.
Cezar avoids the body shot from Ortiz.
Ortiz lands a head kick that stumbles Cezar and the fighters go to the mat.
Cezar is rocked!
It looks like Julio Cezar has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ortiz loads up on a big left hand. Cezar felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ortiz looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cezar can't hide his disappointment, as Ortiz celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tim Ortiz!
