Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reggie Ray will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Reggie Ray! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ray gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Duffy to score an easy takedown into full guard. Duffy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Duffy throwing strikes from guard but Ray blocks nicely. Duffy tries to stand but Ray is controlling from the bottom. Duffy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duffy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duffy stands up over Ray, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Duffy controlling from the top position. Duffy forces his way into half guard. It looks like Duffy is going to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Duffy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Duffy not doing much here.

It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ray regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Ray tries to improve position but can't. Duffy lands a decent elbow from side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duffy tries for a kimura but Ray is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ray has left one of his arms exposed and Duffy doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ray screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
