Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Chimaera (ranked 1093 p4p, 33 weight class) and Gordus Clay (ranked 1194 p4p, 39 weight class). Chimaera comes to the cage accompanied by The Vikings warrior spirit. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Clay jabs Chimaera right on the nose. Chimaera blinks but takes it well.
Clay has closed the distance and engaged Chimaera in a clinch.

Clay is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chimaera gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Chimaera is fighting off a takedown attempt but Clay is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Chimaera to the mat. Chimaera regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Chimaera has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Clay is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chimaera lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Chimaera unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Clay! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Chimaera is unloading with more strikes now! Clay drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

An out of breath The Chimaera thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
