1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ezekiel Brewer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyrock Dillick! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Watson and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dillick misses with a takedown and Brewer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brewer. Dillick is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brewer is controlling him. Brewer won't allow Dillick to sweep him here. Brewer is working Dillick over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Brewer postures up.
Brewer distracts Dillick with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brewer prevents Dillick from getting back to his feet. Dillick lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Brewer stands up from guard. Let's bang! Brewer has taken the fight to the clinch.

Brewer shoots in but Dillick avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dillick wants to counter the offense by Brewer and move into the clinch position. Brewer moves into the clinch. Dillick lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Ezekiel Brewer has been cut. Brewer gets through Dillick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Brewer can't find room to land a body shot as Dillick controls the action.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brewer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brewer closes the distance and clinches. Brewer gets underhooks to prevent Dillick's takedown attempt.
Dillick lands a right hand. Dillick tries to score a body lock takedown but Brewer shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Brewer manages to break the clinch.

Brewer forces Dillick back against the cage and clinches. Dillick is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Dillick manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Brewer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dillick drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brewer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brewer struggling a bit here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Brewer sneaks back into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dillick slaps away a takedown attempt from Brewer, before circling back to the center of the mat. And Dillick tries to counter it with a takedown but Brewer pushes his down on his head and steps out. Dillick shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brewer napping and manages to drive through into side control! Dillick swings around for an armbar but Brewer sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dillick's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brewer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dillick works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dillick has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Brewer is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Brewer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dillick fails to land the takedown. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dillick dives in and grabs Brewer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brewer pushes down on Dillick's head and hops out. Brewer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Dillick pushes Brewer up against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brewer working aggressively here.

Dillick closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brewer's guard. Brewer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dillick's guard. Brewer throws an elbow that misses. Dillick uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brewer's guard. Nice move by Dillick!

Dillick looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Brewer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dillick defends well. Dillick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dillick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dillick preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brewer looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dillick puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Dillick slips a nice elbow through Brewer's hands, connecting with Brewer's forehead. Dillick is controlling the pace.
Dillick wants to stand up but Brewer has a hold of him and won't allow it. Brewer tries to roll over but Dillick keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyrock Dillick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ezekiel Brewer's cut.
