Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randy Hines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Padono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Hines! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donnie Padono! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Padono gets in close and instigates a clinch. Padono jumps guard.
Padono wants to get back to his feet but Hines is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hines might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hines tries to free his leg and advance position but Padono is retaining full guard. Hines slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Padono. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Padono is trying to maintain the position but Hines is very close to passing his half guard. Padono is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hines is looking to advance position but Padono won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hines is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Padono sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Padono is looking for a sweep. Hines is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hines is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Padono has managed to free his arm - good work. Hines wants to take a breather but Padono is having none of it. Hines seems to be looking for submissions.
Hines controlling the action here. Padono is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Padono keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Padono makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Padono. Padono tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hines is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Hines won't allow Padono to sweep him here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Padono shoots in for a takedown but Hines shows good takedown defense. Hines gets caught flat footed, as Padono shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hines wants to hit a switch here but Padono passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hines there! Padono throwing strikes but Hines bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Hines slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Padono keeping moving, preventing Hines from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Padono wants to control the position but Hines says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Hines wants to work for an arm triangle but Padono is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hines is working for a kimura but Padono is defending it quite comfortably.

That was a close round but I would say that Randy Hines will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Padono closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hines did well to prevent Padono getting side control. Hines is not content to let Padono control the position. Hines trying to hold on to Padono's head to control him but Padono postures up.

Hines looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Padono scoring with strikes to the body and head. Hines is refusing to be controlled, as Padono sits in half guard. Padono wants to work for an arm triangle but Hines is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Padono stands and throws Hines's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Padono is looking to take a break and control but Hines is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hines parries the strikes from Padono easily there. Padono is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hines to escape.
Padono has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Padono lands an elbow. Hines takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Padono tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Hines tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Padono trying to control the position but Hines is working away. You can see the frustration on Hines's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hines is trying to improve his position. Padono postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Padono moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Padono lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hines backwards. Hines is looking to control Padono's arms but Padono gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hines has his back to the cage. Padono manages to break the clinch.
Padono closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hines quickly recovers to half guard. Padono is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hines sees it coming and defends easily. Hines won't allow Padono to pass to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hines is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Padono pulls his head out easily. Padono takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donnie Padono showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Hines takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Padono closes the distance and clinches. Padono breaks from the clinch.
Hines dives in and scores a takedown into Padono's guard. Hines prevents Padono from getting back to his feet. Hines wants to control from the top but Padono keeps moving. Hines trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Padono really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hines. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Padono throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hines advances position into side control! The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Padono. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Padono tries to get to full guard but Hines has control of the leg. Padono scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hines manages to mount him!

Hines misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Randy Hines has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Donnie Padono is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Padono tries to buck Hines off but Hines is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Randy Hines showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hines has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
